Day 2 – Graph Matching

We spent most of the class doing a graph match activity designed just to reactivate prior knowledge from previous math classes. Students had 21 graphs and 21 equations and had to match them together. I saw students remembering ideas like parent functions, intercepts, domain, transformations, and plugging on points to check certain values. I’m a little worried about some of my non AP students who didn’t recognize things like sine graphs, or didn’t remember what the square root symbol was called… But you gotta start somewhere! Growth mindset.

(PS I managed to get one blurry picture of students, but I’m attempting to get better at taking pictures DURING class)
