Day 33 – Draw a Function Such That… And Almost Break Shenanigans

In Calculus we did a fun, but chaotic activity where I put characteristics of a function on the board (the limit exists but the function doesn't at x=-1 and the function exists but the limit doesn't at x=1) and students draw a graph that fits the characteristics. Then with all the graphs drawn we looked at each other's work and talked about it. It was a great way to review and explore a lot of concepts that we have been talking about lately.

In AP we had a quiz (which went poorly unfortunately). It's the last day before a week long break for us (Eid Al Adha) so another teacher and I decided to mess around a bit in helping her dorm do a fun video project. They are gathering clips of people dancing behind other people without them knowing. So she came into my class, casually sat up front and I walked to the back and danced like a goofball for like 10 seconds without anyone noticing. It is an absolutely hilarious video, and i cannot wait for them to see it. A great way to kick off break!
