Day 45 – Inf[l]ection and Graph Sketching

Both AP and non AP classes are moving into graph sketching, which I find to be one of my favorite topics. To introduce the idea in non-AP, I borrowed this activity from Sam which was borrowed from something I did in class last year, namely introducing the idea of concavity through the use of modeling an infection spread. We didn't have enough time to reflect and write conclusions, but I think that this will be the perfect intro to graph sketching. Can't wait to get them to reflect on Sunday.
